An Inspirational Story

     The story tells us that even if you have problems in your life, we will always stand up and face it. All of us have our own problems. We always find a solution for it. Even if we cannot come up with a solution, we must face it. Because a problem always has its solution. God gave us a problem not because he hates us; it is because he tests our faith in him. There are many people who are still finding a solution for their own problem but they don’t know that there is one thing they forgot and still the problem get’s bigger and bigger. We always think of our self and already forgot that he is still there ready to help us. We always think of the solution to our problem and forgot that God is always here to help us.

    I am very inspired of the story because of Nicholas Vujicic. I am very inspired because even if he has no hands and feet, he accepts and smiles for it. To him, it is a big challenge. I am also inspired for him because even if he has a condition like that, he teaches the students how to be contented in life. He teaches us how to face a problem. If you are already down, then stand up and face it again. For him, it is a test that God gave to him and he accepts it. Many of us are fortunate because we didn’t have a condition like Nicholas Vujicic. We are fortunate because God is still with us. We are fortunate because God didn’t leave us.

    We can be an inspiration to others. I can be an inspiration to others. I want to continue and complete my course and be an inspiration to others. Even if there are problems that I must face, then I will face it. And if I am down, I will pray to God and stand up and face again the problem. For this, I can share my experience to them. For this, I can be their inspiration.                         

Maturity

     Did you experienced having difficulties in adjusting in your community? Did you have any difficulties in adjusting to other people? Did you have any difficulties controlling your emotion? Did you experience sudden change in yourself? Did you undergo maturity already?

     There are many things that you cannot say to yourself about what is happening to you. You suddenly feel that you are already moved like a true man. You feel that that your anger get’s stronger than you are in the past. You can feel that you want to do what you want without listening to any advice of your parents. You want to plan only for yourself about how to be successful. If you suddenly change and always decide only to yourself then you undergo maturity.

     Maturity is the change of you psychologically. You didn’t think like a child already. This is always happening to the teenagers. When you are having maturity, you always want to do what you want. Even if you are already advice by your mother, you didn’t listen because you want to decide on your own. Maturity can be good but also it can be bad. In this time, they undergo sudden change. It can be good because you already see that they already matured and can stand up on their own. They are not already a child who you must guide always. You can already rely on them and they can be a good help when you have sickness. But they can be bad if they are not guided properly. Like always playing computer games with friends and always rebelling to the parents. When you have a teenager who is undergo maturity, always guide them to a good path because it always starts with a good parents to have a good child.  

The Survivor

     There was an island named, “The Island of Death” at the middle side of the Pacific Ocean. The island was named like that because no one survives on that island. The island is dark and has a forest, and the trees are big and thick. There is also mosses which cover its trunk. You can also see that the trees are very big and its age is almost two hundred years. All of the places are dark and shallow. There are many bats anywhere you see. It’s like the hometown of the dead people. But there is one thing that the people want to get from that island. The treasure named “One Piece”. There was a man named Roger who drops his treasure in the island. He is a pirate. He put the treasure to test who can be a brave man that can get the “One Piece”. But Roger has killed because he is a pirate. He has been a pirate for how many years. And he was a fearless pirate.

     There is one man who wants to get the “One Piece”. And he is Michael Lasquite. He wants to get the “One Piece” not because he wants to show that he can get the treasure, but because there is one thing he wants to buy, the chocolate named Toblerone. Toblerone is a chocolate that if you eat, you will get energized. It feels like you are in heaven. And the man named Michael Lasquite wants to buy that chocolate. When he arrived, the island is so dark. He uses his flashlight. He walks with big courage but suddenly a loud noise was heard. Then he saw that a wild boar is charging towards him. He draws his mighty sword. He slashes the wild boar many times and then, it died. And now he knew why many people died and didn’t survive, it’s because right in front of him is an Anaconda. A 16-feet Anaconda that is hazing towards him. The snake is very hungry like it can eat ten thousand people. But Michael Lasquite is a brave man. The snake attacks him many times and unfortunately, Michael Lasquite has been wounded also many times. Michael Lasquite must kill it quickly because the poison is spreading quickly in his body. He grabs his sword and slashes the snake into half. And after that, he drinks an antidote to cure the poison.

      Michael Lasquite continues to walk and faces many types of deadly animals. Until he arrived where Roger put the treasure, he saw a chest and opened it. And then he was shocked what he saw, it’s only a letter. Then he read the letter, “You are truly a hero, but the treasure is not here . . . it’s in the Greed Island”. Then he left the island and his next destination, the Greed Island. 

HEROES

       Do you always dream about having wings? Do you always dream about flying in the sky? Do you always want to have an incredible power? Do you always dream about becoming a superhero someday?
         Superheroes like Superman, Batman, Spiderman, are just made only for entertainment especially for children. They have special features that attract the attention of the children. They have extraordinary powers that can defeat their opponents. And for the movies, they are the heroes. But what is a hero? Is it because they are the only ones who can have extraordinary powers? Or is it because they are the ones who can defeat the bad guys?

     There are things that for us, is impossible. A hero is not only because they have extraordinary powers, it is how much you contribute that can make others happy because of what you do. There are many people in this world that you can say, a real hero. They don’t have any powers. They don’t have any strong opponents. But because of them, our country will not be successful. And that is the teachers. We can say that teachers are just like us, they teach students and they don’t have any power or an opponent. But if you think more, they are the ones that make their students successful. And they are the ones that we can say, a true hero. They are not teaching for their own good, but they teach to make their students successful in the future. They teach not because of the money, it’s because they want to guide the students a better life.
     A hero always has a bigger task to make. And everyone can be a hero. We can contribute to the development of our country. We can be a model for the next generation. Because a hero does not require any extraordinary powers, but it is how you can be a hero to other people.    

Are You Communicating with The Dead?

     There are things in our life that cannot be explained by the science. One of these is the ability of the other people to communicate with the dead. Seeing someone in front of you died is the most sorrowful event that happens to your life. Others believe that it is possible that you can communicate with the dead people. And the others believe that it is not possible because they believe in one thing, “to see is to believe”. When we are still alive, we don’t know if what will happen to us if we die. We always imagine and ask our self, “What will happen if I die?”

     Life is the most important thing in our life that God gave us. He is the only one who can give and take out our life. He told us that death is only the beginning and part of our life. All of us experienced already that someone died and the hardest part is your loved ones. For me, the most painful I experienced was losing my grandmother and my grandfather. Maybe other people don’t care about their grandparents and just leave them.  For me, my grandparents are very special. They are not just other people for me, they are important people. My mother always told me that they always care for me. Grandparents love their grandchildren than their own child. When the time has come that they must rest, I felt longing for them.

    Maybe there are things that you don’t want to accept in your life but it is the reality. Other people believe that others can communicate with the living. And for me, it is true. Even if you are dead, you always think and care about your loved ones. Maybe others communicate with the living people through dreams or maybe with signs like you have a weird feeling. Dead people communicate with us not because they want to scare us but to give a message for their loved ones. Other dead people scared us because they want to have a full attention. Others also scared us because they don’t want to be disturbed. Maybe we are asking, why is it that they are still in here and not go to the other world? For me, they are still in here communicating with the living because they only care of one thing, their loved ones. 

I Stop to Say "Thank You Mom and Dad"

              When we are having a conversation with other people, we encountered many things like how do they usually do and how do they act to you and to other people around. But the first thing we usually observed to them is their behavior. You can actually know that this particular person has a good or a bad manner by their behavior. If you see a child helping an old woman crossed the street, you can say immediately that the child is a good and a well-mannered child. As you can see in our society, there are many crimes and illegal actions that have been done because not all people have the same behavior just like the child.

                As we all know, not all people have a good behavior but we can actually change it if we wanted to. We can also adopt this behavior in our society. For my example earlier, the child didn’t hesitate to help the old woman. To our self, we can say that the parents of the child are very lucky because they have a kid that is well-discipline even with his/her young age. To me, if the child didn’t thought well from their parents about good manners, then that child didn’t help the old woman to cross the street. For me, the most important thing that you must respect is your mother and father. A parent always guides their kids in their own life so that when they grow up, they can manage their life easily. The parents also protect their child whenever there are things that are not good for their own children. And a parent always supports their child whenever there are things that they wanted to do that makes them happy.

                For me, the first thing I respect most is my mother and father. They are the ones who always support me. And even if many people are angry at me, I know that my mom and dad always at my side to protect me. And I always believe that no matter how good you are to associate with other people, if you don’t respect your own parents, you are still bad for the eyes of those people. That’s why for me, the only thing I can say to my parents, “Thank you Mom and Dad”.   

Am I A Critical Thinker?

Do you always reason out with your class? Do you judge every issue or idea from what you read? Do you consider yourself a critical thinker?

Each one of us has our own opinions and suggestions. We have our own idea from what is right and what is wrong. We have our own judgments if we are going to agree or disagree in a situation. These might be some examples that you are a critical thinker but do you think we are all a critical thinker? Every one of us is a critical thinker but not all of us are a good critical thinker. For me, I am a critical thinker. If there are problems that I encountered, I will look for different possibilities or views to solve the problem. If I have a question about the lessons of our teacher’s discussion, then I will ask about it. If there are discussions that I didn’t understand, I will seek for new ideas. If you are thinking this way then no doubt, you are a very good critical thinker. Being a good critical thinker is very important for us. There are many students who are just having good time with their friends and without knowing how important education is. Some are just playing computer games all the time without knowing how much effort their parents sacrificed for their education. These are the people who are not thinking about their family and just enjoying the rest of their life. Almost all of these examples are reflecting to the students who are just ignoring the importance of education. Having a good or a bad life is in your decision. If you are a critical thinker, you must always think about your own decisions and make your own choice. 

My Mission in Life

As you can see, there are many people who want to be successful in life. And it shoes that these people strive hard to reach their own goals. To me, every one of us has mission in life. And I also have my mission in life as a student. A student will not be successful in life if he/she doesn't have any mission. That mission is the one that gives us an idea for what we are looking for in life. My mission in life is to complete my college degree in MSU-IIT. This mission is very important to me because education is the only way to be a successful one. To the other people, they may not consider it as a mission because they don't want to study in college and always hang out with their friends. But for me, it is very important. My parents always supported me and studying in college is the only thing I can show to them for their endless support.

Having a mission is not only just doing what others are always told you about. It's your own decision if you want to be what you wanted in the future. To me, the first step of my mission is to make my parents proud for me. That's why I am doing my best to get good grades. From this way, I can show to them that they are very proud of me and not to think that it is a mistake for having me to study in an excellent school. For every one of us, this is the most important thing in our life. But there are people who surrender their schooling because of lack of money. This is the main reason why many children are always in the streets and looking for a job to have some money. And because of this, many people are focusing more on money and think that money is the most important thing in our life. Many good people turned into criminals because of the money. As a student, I can say that money is very important to finish our college degree but the most important is hard work. If you have your own goal, then you will do everything to pursue it. If you continue to pursue your goal, then it's your mission to pursue it. That's why everyone has their own mission. We are all here because of our own mission. Maybe other people especially students didn't realize how important the education to everybody. And others are abusing it and always skip classes. But in the end, they will realize how important an education not only for the students, but also for our country. And it's only once in a life time, it cannot be repeated. For us students, this is the most special mission in our life. And there is one thing you must not forget, always have faith in God and always be tough in any challenges you'll going to face in the future.
